Justin Day ExcavatingJustin Day Excavating, based in Hutchinson, Kansas is one of those businesses that has been around for many years but had never expended much effort on creating a company identity or image that could help it stand apart from a branding perspective for new and potential customers. Started as a family venture, the business has been reasonably successful for many years as clientele and repeat business kept a relatively steady stream of revenue coming in the doors. In 2006, though, Knowing that more than half of consumers begin their searchfor services on the internet today, rather than in the yellow pages, Justin Day enlisted the help of GraphicSphere to build an internet presence that would help explain the wide variety of services provided while providing visual examples of the type of work that could be performed. Along with that presence, we discussed the overall marketing collateral approach and the development of a consistent image and identity around which we coul build the site. We determined it was time for Justin Day Excavating to create a standard logo, business cards, marketing postcards and property signage that was cohesive, consistent and that would drive new customers to the website for more information and education, facilitating the sales process and freeing Justin's time to focus on delivering the actual services. After all, a website can be a tireless, 24 x 7 salesperson. GraphicSphere designed a comprehensive website with visual tours, educational information and methods for contact, all optimized for search engine friendliness. We also developed a new logo, business cards, postcards, signs and graphics for other printed materials such as proposals, invoices and more. We're continuing to work closely with Justin Day Excavating to learn how customers with questions are finding information and making decisions to choose Justin Day for their excavating, land clearing, driveway construction, demolition and other needs. We're also continuing to provide marketing assistance and ideas as we refine his marketing processes.

It takes a unique proposition, and strong, bold and big idea to set you above and apart in the customer's mind. Here are some of our favorite resources that can help you build upon this idea.
